Welcome to Our Blog!

Thanks for taking a look at our blog. I hope it gives you some ideas on how to use your own little tear bears in your projects, and lets you see how we dress up our bears using Quickutz Die Cuts. Have a browse- you will see that we love our little "Mulberry Bears" and love Quickutz shapes... they're even better when they are used together!

Thank You Teacher! Mulberry Tear Bear

My daughters are just about to finish school and Nursery at the end of June for their summer holidays, so we thought t would be nice to make a little Mulberry Bear Topper for a "thank you teacher" card.
I made up my little Bear, using only the head, paws and feet, and used him to decorate a Quickutz Revolution "Chalk Board" Die cut.
The Teachers hat is made from a Quickutz 2x2 Graduation Cap die, and the little Diploma is made using the Quickutz 2x2 Diploma die.
The whole thing is finished off by a little red shiny apple, which I made using my Silhouette.
The blackboard is great for writing on a message of thanks- if you use a white opaque pen, then rub around it with some white chalk, it really does look like a little used blackboard!

I'm working on making tutorial up with images so that you can see how easy it is to make these cute little Bears.
I now have the kits listed in my ebay shop, which includes all you need to get started!
